Today I decided to do a little bit of driving throughout Fremont County and Custer County. The adjacent photo is of the Arkansas River in Cotopaxi. I love the orange-colored rocks in the background. |

I then wound up in Westcliffe, Colorado, a really small but scenic town in Custer County. Here's a downtown photo. Now I must say that this town is largely known for its stunning mountains scenery, as the Sangre De Cristo Mountains stand tall west of town. |

Just west of Sliver Cliff and Westcliffe, I pulled over and took this shot of the mountains looking north. |

Now this shot was also taken right from my car. I was just north of Wetmore, heading towards Florence in Fremont County. That range way out there is the Pikes Peak mountain range. |
