St. Elmo - A Ghost Town In Colorado (Photos August 2006)

St. Elmo, Colorado Scott and I had just finished hiking up to Agnes Vaille Falls in the Chalk Cliffs area and we decided to take a quick drive to St. Elmo, one of the best preserved ghost towns in all of Colorado.

St. Elmo, Colorado Many of the homes are privately owned, but picture-taking (as I understand) is an encouraged alternative to trespassing.
St. Elmo, Colorado St. Elmo is just six miles from Tincup Pass, and the bumpy 4-wheel road begins here. I had the joy of 4-wheeling up to Tincup Pass two weeks ago, and you can see those photos here: Tincup Pass.
