September 2005 - The Spruce Creek Trail is located near Breckenridge and Blue River.
Take Spruce Creek Road (practically across from the lake in Blue River) all the way up and to the
end to reach the trailhead.
My friend and I went in mid-September when the
autumn colors were
showing on these beautiful Rocky Mountains.
Lower Mohawk Lake is approximately three miles from the trailhead.
I scurried up on some rocks above Lower Mohawk Lake, and got this nice mountain view. :)
