On a really nice summer day in 2005, I drove to the summit of
Cottonwood Pass and thought this photo would be nice to submit to Amazing Colorado.
Standing at the summit, I was looking out west towards the Gunnison County side of the pass.
I must confess, in all of my drives to the summit, I have only
traveled on the east side of the pass - the "Buena Vista side."
Well, I plan to spend quite a bit of time this summer at Taylor Lake and Crested Butte once the pass is open! :)
