BRIDAL VEIL FALLS! (Waterfall In Telluride, Colorado)

Colorado Waterfall Just east of Telluride against its stunning mountain backdrop, is Bridal Veil Falls, a beautiful two pronged waterfall with a vertical drop of approximately 100 feet. If you love waterfalls and you have a 4-wheel drive, this is definitely a "must see" site.

Directions from Telluride are very simple: Take the main avenue east out of town and soon the road will turn into a dirt road. Go through the old mining area and drive up the switchbacks. You can take the road all the way up to the house if you like.

  • I took this picture as we approached the mine area, east of Telluride.
You're going to love the views up there! :)
Way up, you'll have a great view looking back west into the canyon. Notice the mine in the bottom right. The town of Telluride is just out of sight from this spot - it sits slightly down more in the canyon.
I hope this picture does it justice. It is a magical place!
